Best Spots to Take Photos in Colorado Springs


Colorado Springs has many beautiful places to take photos and get photos taken. But here are some of our favorite places we have photographed.

Quail Lake


Quail Lake is a simple, versatile photo location with open water, mountain views, and clean backgrounds that keep the focus on the subject. Quail Lake photographs best near golden hour when the light softens and the mountains stand out. We have photographed there 3-4 times and we still love it.

Garden of the Gods & Red Rock


Red Rock Canyon Open Space and Garden of the Gods are iconic photography locations in Colorado Springs , known for dramatic red rock formations, open space, and mountain views. Garden of the Gods offers a bold, classic Colorado look, while Red Rock Canyon delivers a similar red rock style with fewer crowds.

Woodmen Valley Park


Woodmen Valley Park is one of our favorite spots in the fall. The fall foliage is a mesmerizing and beautiful bright red. The rock formations are perfect to take your senior, family, and other portraits. The open fields, playground, and natural trails make it an ideal Colorado Springs location for capturing vibrant, seasonal photos. Whether for casual sessions or special occasions, this park offers a stunning backdrop that highlights the best of autumn in Colorado Springs.
